Cheng Tang

My name is Cheng Tang. I graduated from Peking University, with bachelor in international politics and economics and master’s in enterprise management.

“For me StratOp is not only a place of work, but more importantly is a place of life.”

I joined StratOp right after graduation, although I had already built some experience in marketing and HR through internships in various industries. For me StratOp is not only a place of work, but more importantly is a place of life.

Our personal interests are truly valued. Everyone from the very first day can choose which study to get involved in, by bidding on the new study list that is published every week. Our personal work-life balance is also truly valued. The firm offers us the freedom to choose how many days we want to take off and when, with very few restrictions.

Most importantly, friendship is truly valued. On the client studies, we are friends fighting side by side and sharing the same vision to create true value for clients. And outside work, we are still good friends often hanging out together, travelling together, sharing joys and difficulties with each other.

Jiawei ZHENG

My name is Jiawei Zheng. I chose to join StratOp just after I graduated from Tsinghua University, with bachelor in English language and literature and Business Administration.

“It is also a enjoyable and life-affirming experience to work in a team where everyone has strong ownership on what they do.”

I attended the interview of StratOp by chance, but was greatly impressed by interviewers’ enthusiastic attitude towards problem-solving.

During two years’ work at StratOp, I have always been encouraged to take lead in events—— not only to lead team members but also to lead our clients by developing insights from analyses and initiating creative yet practical solutions. It is also a enjoyable and life-affirming experience to work in a team where everyone has strong ownership on what they do. That is the way how StratOpers make real impact on people and on business.

StratOp helps me in self-exploration as well as in career development. The free choice of working days allows me to leave footprints around the world, and the friendship among colleagues enables me to face and improve myself.
